50mm Hooded Twin Wheel Castor - UNF Thread & Expanding Socket - Tube Fitting
A 50mm diameter castor with a hood that covers the twin wheels is equipped with a 3/8 UNF threaded stem and socket set that is made for furniture with vertical steel frames or legs, such as office furniture and household equipment including cabinets, desks, tables, and trollies. This can be done with tube wall thicknesses ranging from 0.9mm to 1.6mm and various internal diameters using an expanding socket.

- 25mm of the castor's pintle stem is threaded so that the castor screws into the expanding socket nut.

- Load capacity: 30kg per castor
- Work out the weight of your furniture, including any contents, to determine your required load capacity. Then, divide the total weight of your furniture and contents by the individual weight capacity of the castors you plan to use. A 150-kilogram unit requires a minimum of five 30-kilogram maximum capacity castor wheels.
- Important note: the 3/8 UNF is a fine-pitch thread with more threads per inch; it will not work with the 3/8 BSW.
